Massimo carries out automation projects to help overcome IT infrastructure challenges

One of the main challenges for retailers is outdated warehouse technology that no longer meets companies' needs and contributes to a slow logistics process.

In an article published by Valor Investe, Guilherme Felippe, a Massimo Consulting consultant, points out that he has been seeing this situation in several companies, and that this worsening condition leads to failures that ultimately generate losses.

"In one of our clients, for example, the systems and operational processes were designed ten years ago, sized to handle the volume at that time. A small delay in stock replenishment used to be easily managed by the team with quick fixes. But today, with a larger-scale operation, not only has the delay started to generate losses, but other failures have also emerged," explains the expert.
