Each sector's particularities require specific automation systems

In an article published by the Varejo S.A. portal, Guilherme Felippe, a Massimo Consulting consultant, points out the importance of correctly applying automation systems such as ERP, MRP, and WMS, according to volume, process design, and other factors.

"In one of our clients, for example, the systems and operational processes were designed ten years ago, sized to handle the volume at that time. A small delay in stock replenishment used to be easily managed by the team with quick fixes. But today, with a larger-scale operation, not only has the delay started to generate losses, but other failures have also emerged," the expert explains.
