Retail: Ship from store is a solution for faster deliveries

Last-mile deliveries have become increasingly indispensable for retailers seeking to meet online consumers' demands for more efficient deliveries. According to Camila Affonso, a Consumer Goods sector specialist, one viable solution is ship from store, which involves dispatching orders directly from stores.

However, most stores still need to prepare to operate efficiently under a ship from store model. Currently, the retail sector faces significant challenges that need to be overcome.

"The main problem is that stores are not organized to facilitate picking, packing, and dispatch processes, and they also lack sufficient storage space to accommodate both demand profiles," explains specialist Camila, partner at Massimo Consulting, in an interview with Diário de Curitiba.
